David Warner and the KABOOM returns
David Warner and the KABOOM is back this summer.
One of the world’s best cricketers returns to Gray-Nicolls ahead of the 2024-25 Big Bash League with a Limited Edition KABOOM bat available in retailers from mid-December.
“It all started here, so I’m excited to be back. Bring back the Kaboom,” Warner said.
“I’ve got some really good memories. So why not come back to the leading bat maker Stu (Kranzbuhler) and with Gray-Nicolls I could not be happier.”
Asked why he elected to return to Gray-Nicolls and revitilise the KABOOM, Warner said it was the outstanding quality gear for his own game and his love of the KABOOM legacy.
“It’s Australian Made, the access is brilliant and I just think working with a great team again is going to be fantastic,” he said.
“What drove KABOOM was more about kids and getting them involved in sport. Using it and something a bit different. I’ve got three beautiful girls who are playing cricket and they want to use the KABOOM as well and I’m excited for that.
“It’s something for me that early on we did a lot of research around a lot of things, like the bat making noises with the cricket ball and the sound, so that’s how we came up with KABOOM and it stuck.”
